Starting off at Westminster Pier and finishing off at Egg London, the Thames sunset cruise is the perfect way to start a night with two decks of London’s best DJ’s and performers.
Part 1 – The boat party
One of the best things about London nightlife is the big boat party and we give you the opportunity to party hard while taking in the amazing skyline and famous sights of London that can only be seen along the Thames! Start the night early, get to the dockside at 7.45pm but don’t be late as the party boat sets sail on the dot at 8pm from Westminster Pier. The boat features TWO decks of music, a pub priced bar, an open Sun roof over the main dance-floor and an open sun deck to enjoy the view and sunset.
Part 2 – The free after party at Egg
You can continue partying at the after party once the boat has docked, just make sure you collect the wristband on the boat and go straight to Egg!
One of the highlights on Egg LDN’s April agenda, DJ Mag Sessions return to the club with Icelandic duo Kiasmos making their debut alongside Woo York, Baikal and Tom Law. Kiasmos is the meeting of minds between BAFTA-winning composer Ólafur Arnalds and the revered creator of electro-pop outfit ‘Bloodgroup’, Janus Rasmussen. Combining their work ethic and experimental approach to producing, the sound of Kiasmos is built around a robust variety of drum machines, synthesisers and tape delays to result in a signature, deeply textured rhythm which has taken them from Reykjavík to New York, Amsterdam, Melbourne and more. Ukrainian duo Woo York also make their Egg LDN debut alongside a hardware driven live performance. With a sound incorporating a techno aesthetic focused on left-field melodies, the pair have garnered a serious reputation in the industry with releases on Dystopian, Afterlife, Life & Death, Semantica and Soma to name a few. Irish producer and Maeve affiliate Baikal touches down in Kings Cross with a mesmerising sonic collection influenced by ‘everything’. Never one to pigeonhole his endeavours to one genre, Baikal’s sets touch on shady elements of techno to an unpredictable blend of electronic mutations. London’s Tom Law completes the billing with a library of atmospheric cuts to mark this particular gathering of celebrated, live electronic producers making their first visit to the North London institution.
